Description

Checklist of some antityphod plants from Cameroon.

Data Records

The data in this checklist resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 5 records.

1 extension data tables also exist. An extension record supplies extra information about a core record. The number of records in each extension data table is illustrated below.

Taxon (core)

This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.

Versions

The table below shows only published versions of the resource that are publicly accessible.

This daset represents 05 taxa (specific level) of some antityphod plants of Cameroon, representing 05 accepted names. The checklist has been built after Adjanohoun et al. (1996), then systematically revised using mostly the database for the flowering plants of tropical Africa of the Conservatoire et Jardin botanique de la ville Génève (http://www.ville-ge.ch/musinfo/bd/cjb/africa/recherche.php?langue=fr) and Tropicos (http://www.tropicos.org/)

Project Data

The project aim to (i) increase national capacity for biodiversity information management in Cameroon and (ii) establish national biodiversity information facilities, including national information management infrastructure and nodal structure in Cameroon. Immediate result is that data on species in Cameroon are made freely accessible online via GBIF.org, and via national channels for local stakeholders, contributing to increase accessibility of data on species in Africa. The expected impact is an improved status of the sustainable development goals in Cameroon.
