Mentoring of GBIF Cameroon by GBIF Benin and GBIF France Jean François MOUSSA pointOfContact This project aims to strengthen the collaboration between GBIF Cameroon, GBIF Benin and GBIF France through the CESP programme. This collaboration will enable GBIF Cameroon to receive guidance and technical assistance from GBIF France and GBIF Benin. The project will increase sharing of experiences between the three nodes, as well as between the former beneficiaries of BID funding. It will also allow the promotion of GBIF through training workshops and the conception, production and dissemination of support materials during the workshop. Project financed by GBIF through its CEPA program € 14,987 and co-financed by GBIF Cameroon for € 30,802. This dataset lists some of the occurrences of animal and plant species observed on conservation or land restoration sites in the Far North region of Cameroon. These sites are part of the areas delineated by the Ministry in charge of the Environment as part of its "Green Sahel" project. Some data are also from sites set up by partners of this Ministry.
